Today we spent the day finding Olivia's on the road. I think Eamon misses his grandma.
Unfortunately while updating the blog today I discovered we managed to take NO pictures while she was here. Hopefully she will send us a few to post.

Paint Anyone
Just as we were walking out the door, Aine & Eamon decided to do a little art project. The problem was it involved eating some paint for Aine.

Grandma's Car
While driving home from a friend's house, we passed a yellow bug...
E: That's like Grandma's car.
M: Huh? Oh, that beetle. Wow you are right that is like her car.
E: She lives in Michigan.
M: Yep. Did you know she will be visiting us next week.
E(with huge smile): YEA!!!!

Daddy's Pants
While getting dressed today, I suggested that Eamon wear a certain pair of jeans. I held them up to him to see if the jeans would fit.
M: Nope. They won't fit. They are still too big.
E: Yep, Daddy will have to wear those.

Book Nook
We took the doors off the closet in the playroom to make a book nook. It is still a work in progress, but Eamon & Aine enjoy it already.

Toys at the Post Office
Our local post office is the very best in the whole world. The people are NICE - I know it is amazing, isn't it??? There are toys in the back of our small post office. They are for kids to use while waiting for their parents to conclude their postal business. Eamon loves going through the bin.
He pulled three stuffed animals out during a recent trip. When it was time to go I told him that he needed to leave the toys for other kids. I said he needed to put them to sleep in the box.
Eamon slowly took each one individually, gave it a kiss and layed it in the box. He then said he would be back later.

Am I seeing Red
Eamon : "Momma, look my pee is red"
M: "Yep, you had beets last night, so your pee is colored red."
Eamon: "Today I am going to eat oranges so I have orange pee tomorrow"
