Eamon and Aine love to read. They can often be found with a book.

Awakening
Aine woke up very early. Eamon started to stir and asked me sleepily, "Mama, where is my cousin Ashlyn?" I assured him that she was not here in our house; she is in Texas. Eamon rolled over and fell asleep. I think he was afraid he was missing out on playing with her.
Orange Juice
The other day Eamon & Aine were playing with two stuffed animals - Tuffy(dog) and Luffy (Panda). I asked Aine if her dog needed milk. She nodded and tried to suck on it's muzzle. Eamon piped up that his panda needed orange juice.
H: Oh, Luffy drinks orange juice?
E: I am full of orange juice.

It's my job!
We stopped at the bookstore today. Eamon was looking for a book in the children's section, while Aine was sleeping in the baby carrier. I told Eamon that it was time to go checkout and that he needed to pick one book.
E: "Mama, I can't go. I am reading books. It is my job."

Aine helped her brother today with his injury. She held an ice pack to his head and patted his back. Here she is all smiles...

Painting
We decided to paint a bit yesterday (Tuesday). I cut a potato in half to make a stamp to create pumpkins. I also figured we could make some spiders with our fingers and palms. The kids enjoyed the whole thing. The pumpkin making morphed a bit, however...

Lonely
While eating a snack at Costco, Eamon noticed a man eating by himself.
He looked at the man, and said, "Excuse me are you lonely?" The man chuckled, and said no he wasn't.

Scared
E: Mama, you aren't scared because you are a big woman, right?

Musings while falling asleep
Eamon likes to curl up beside me to fall asleep. His favorite spot is lying on my arm with his head partly in my underarm. Last night, Eamon had a few witicisms for me...
E: Mama, your armpit stinks.
E: Can I put my brain in your armpit?

Blowing Kisses
Aine now blows kisses to everyone that leaves. I also noticed that the sign for Thank-You involves a bit of kiss-blowing.
Eamon's Medley
Eamon sang this song last night while laying down to sleep.
Grandma, Grandma, sick in bed
She called the doctor
Shimmy of the feet
She'll be comin' round the mountain
She'll be driving six white horses, roll back
We'll all have cake and ice cream, yum yum
Wearing wool pajamas, itch, scratch
Grandma, grandma, sick in bed
