Today we planned outside and prepped ourselves for summer. Everyone particularly liked wearing goggles.

Baseball in the Sunshine
Grandma and GrandDad gave us their tickets for an ASU baseball game. We ended up sitting separately as they only have two seats, so we had to buy two additional seats in another spot in the stadium. Benton fell asleep, but Aine and Eamon enjoyed the whole game. They rooted for the home team and had quite a few munchies.

Goodbye, Ava dog
Today we said goodbye to Ava. She was part of our family for 6 1/2 years. We loved her dearly and are sad to see her go. We love you, Ava Dog.

Finally
For his birthday, Dave took our family on a road trip to Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. Although I have lived in the state for many years, I had never seen the Grand Canyon. He thought that situation needed correction. He also wanted the kiddos to see it.
We encountered snow in Flagstaff and enjoyed playing in it. We played on swings, threw snowballs and laid in the white stuff.
From Flagstaff we headed north. It was cold out, so Benton snuggled in the sling. We walked along the top and talked about the cause of the gorge. The kiddos were impressed. I thought it looked unreal. After walking around for a bit, we ventured home vowing to return again and camp.
